What is TASTE Takeover?
TASTE Takeover is a veteran-led, Latina, queer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Washington, DC Capital Region. We create safe, welcoming, and culturally affirming spaces where LGBTQ+ Latinx people and allies can connect, celebrate, and thrive.
Through year-round community events, cultural programming, advocacy, and access to essential resources, we foster belonging while uplifting the voices and experiences of LGBTQ+ Latinx communities.
Our signature program, Mamacita Festival, is the nation’s first veteran-led Queer Latina Music Festival, celebrating Latin culture, music, and community while creating greater visibility and opportunity for LGBTQ+ Latinx artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations.
Together, TASTE Takeover and Mamacita Festival are building a stronger, more connected future where every LGBTQ+ Latinx person feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

MEET OUR TEAM

Natasha Sebastiani
Founder & President
Natasha is an Air Force veteran, a senior project manager, and community leader originally from Venezuela. Raised just outside Philadelphia, she has called the Washington, DC metropolitan area home since 2012 and currently resides in Northern Virginia with her wife, Daniela.
Natasha holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. Her professional background in healthcare project management, combined with her military experience, has shaped her passion for leadership, building meaningful connections, and creating spaces where people feel seen and valued.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Natasha is deeply passionate about Latin culture, music, and dance as a way to bring people together. As an immigrant who grew up in the United States, she understands what it feels like to be far from your home country and long for a sense of belonging. She believes that music, culture, and shared experiences have the power to reconnect people with their roots while creating an “away from home” feeling for those who miss where they came from.
She is especially passionate about creating welcoming spaces for the LGBTQ+ community and anyone looking to find connection, celebrate their identity, and build the kind of community she wishes had existed when she was growing up.

Daniela Arteaga Hernandez
Vice-President & Director
Daniela is originally from Cali, Colombia, and has called the Washington, DC metropolitan area home for the past several years. A project manager by profession and a devoted mother, Daniela is passionate about bringing people together through creativity, culture, and meaningful experiences.
Currently learning English and fluent in Spanish, Daniela has a natural talent for event design and décor. She enjoys transforming both indoor and outdoor spaces with balloons, flowers, and thoughtful details that create warm, welcoming, and memorable celebrations.
Proud of her Colombian roots, Daniela has a deep love for salsa music and dancing and enjoys sharing the richness of Latin culture through music, traditions, and celebration. She believes these experiences help people, especially those living far from their home countries, reconnect with their heritage while finding a sense of belonging and community. She is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and allies can celebrate, feel at home, and build lasting connections.

Luciana M.
Family Event Game Coordinator
Luciana is the daughter of Natasha and Daniela and an energetic, creative 11-year-old originally from Cali, Colombia. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she loves making new friends and bringing joy wherever she goes.
Whether she’s creating TikTok dances, playing the violin, reading, singing, acting, dancing, swimming, or spending time with family and friends, Luciana is always full of creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
Proud of her Colombian roots, Luciana loves Latin music, dancing, and celebrating the traditions that connect her to her culture and family. At Mamacita Festival, she helps lead the fun in the Kids Zone by welcoming young attendees, encouraging participation in activities, and helping create a space where children can laugh, play, make new friends, and feel included. She loves bringing smiles to other kids and helping every child feel at home while their families celebrate together.
