Due to a last-minute change completely out of our control by the venue, STFU will no longer be hosting our event tomorrow night. As always, we shifted — because that’s what we do. 💪
We know these changes are frustrating. We don’t like confusing you. We don’t like raising prices. But this new venue — especially during World Pride — wasn’t able to offer the same support as STFU. So yes, the door donation is slightly higher, and that’s because it goes directly to supporting our entertainment: DJs, guest talent, and creatives who make these spaces possible.
🗣️ We have a lot to say — and soon, we’ll be sharing the truth about venue access and how it disproportionately impacts queer, Latinx-led, nonprofit events like ours. What happened with STFU and Public Bar’s leadership was disappointing and left us with a bad taste — and sadly, this isn’t the first…
